River Valley Country Inn is the place to stay!
The Pretty River Valley Country Inn is just under two hours
from Toronto, 1.5 hours from Toronto International Airport (YYZ).
We are 10 minutes from Collingwood, close to Blue Mountain for
skiing and Wasaga Beach for sun and fun. We are perched on the
Niagara Escarpment a Unesco World Biosphere Reserve boasting
a spectacular view of the Pretty River Valley Provincial Park
minutes away from the Bruce Trail. Situated on 125 acres with
forests, hiking trails,(snow shoes available) meadows, orchards,
stream, ponds and a salt water pool, guests find secluded tranquil
spots to unwind and relax. The Inn is home to Reindeer (in training
for Xmas), Miniature, Icelandic and Percheron horses, and rare
breed chickens. Small scale “Apple Cider production”
and “Maple Syrup” collection keeps staff and guests
alike busy! The Inn has for over 30 years provided a getaway
for our guests from the hustle of urban life! |

 We
are a small intimate Inn (upscale country) with 11 accommodation
choices all boasting Queen or King Tempur-pedic sleep systems,
wood burning fireplaces, seating areas, fridges and ensuite
private bathrooms. Free high speed wireless access for guests
is provided within the Inn as well as outside by the pond or
on the terrace. A full country breakfast is included with your
accommodations, (vegetarians welcome). Complimentary hot drinks
provided throughout your stay. Packed trail lunches available
on request. |

| Our guests have access to the indoor hot tub at
the Inn and, at the Homefarm, the original Victorian red brick
homestead there is an exercise room, outdoor hot tub and the
outdoor salt water swimming pool. Massages can be arranged in
the spa area in the exercise room , by the swimming pool in
summer or in your room. Evening bonfires with marshmallows have
become a ritual among our guests. (bring guitar). A BBQ and
picnic tables for our guests enjoyment are situated on a rise
overlooking the escarpment and horse paddock. |

seats 16 for corporate meetings. Corporate dining can be as
casual or as formal as your budget allows. Minutes from the
Inn is the World Famous “Eiginsinn Farm” with Chef
Michael Stadtlander. We can assist in coordinating a corporate
dinner meeting that is hosted by one of the top chefs in the
world. Our service oriented staff can provide the expertise
needed for a first class event and the Inn provides the exclusivity
that many companies now demand for their management retreats.
